"Give Thanks" Thanksgiving Countdown

I really wanted to do something to make the Thanksgiving season (aka November) more about gratitude than creating Christmas lists.  So, even though I meant to finish this 2 1/2 weeks ago, at least I finished it!

I heavily relied on the cricut and mod podge to cut out and affix the letters, circles, and numbers to the canvas panel.  I cut out small magnets and stuck one just beneath each circle.  Then I printed out the activities to be done each day and laminated/cut them out and put small magnets on the back of those.  Here are the activites we have planned!  I based my ideas on ones from this website.  Feel free to borrow from me, too!

Family Hands

After I read Kristen's blog post about Pinterest, I decided to give it a shot.  I'd heard about Pinterest from other blogs, but didn't think I'd really use it.  I was wrong!  I love it!  I had found this idea elsewhere and had it bookmarked, but I always forget about my bookmarks.  What I love about Pinterest is that I can see the ideas that I like, so I don't forget them as easily.  We did this for FHE a few weeks ago, and I love how it turned out!

Holiday Subway Art

So, I really wasn't in much of a decorating, crafty mood for the majority of the time I was pregnant with Seth.  However, I did love to play around with photoshop and fonts.  The result was that I've started creating interchangeable holiday subway art for some frames in our living room.  Here's what I came up with.  Feel free to right click and save any of them if you'd like!  As I create more for other holidays, I will post them here, too!  I also have a few other things I'm going to post in the (hopefully) near future.
